In Cave Creek, Arizona, Donkeys of the Heart pairs gentle donkeys with children and teens for therapeutic horsemanship, from grooming and leading to riding lessons. It's one of the sweetest things we know of, and a big reason we love donkeys.
One of the largest donkey rescues anywhere, caring for thousands of donkeys at rescue centers and sanctuaries across the country, including Tucson, Arizona.
A sanctuary near Kingman, Arizona, giving rescued donkeys and wild burros a peaceful forever home, where burro families get to stay together.
An all-volunteer rescue in Benson, Arizona, giving rescued donkeys a safe, loving home. Visits are by appointment.
Our neighbors in the Rio Verde Foothills, near Fountain Hills, rescuing and caring for donkeys and showing up at local community events.
